A: Absolutely! Even if you complete just 10%, you’ll learn how to count in simple time, master timing using a metronome, and understand rhythm in a whole new way. Completing 50% of the course will give you a solid foundation in both rhythm and chords — skills you’ll use for life!
Q: Who teaches the course?
A: Most Sessions are taught by Lou from Bakerlou Music, a professional piano tutor with years of experience helping students build confidence, rhythm, and musical freedom.
Q: How do the lessons work?
A: You’ll have access to your video lessons via the Bakerlou Music app and get to join weekly live group sessions with Lou. These group sessions are your chance to ask questions, connect with other learners, and get feedback. You’ll also receive a 1:1 monthly check-in so we can track your personal progress and keep you motivated.
Q: What is the 6-Week Challenge?
A: The 6-Week Challenge is your kickstart! It introduces you to rhythm, timing, and essential skills using our unique “drummer’s approach” to piano. You’ll learn how to count in time, use a metronome effectively, and develop rock-solid musical timing — the foundation for everything else you’ll play.
Q: What is the 30-Day Chord Course?
A: This follow-up course helps you understand chords — both basic and advanced — so you can start playing songs, improvising, and creating music with confidence.

A: You’ll need a piano or keyboard, a stable internet connection, and a device (computer, tablet, or phone) to access the lessons and Zoom sessions. You’ll receive a starter kit, which includes a ring light so you look great on Zoom during your group sessions. You’ll also get an instruction video showing you exactly how to access Zoom and join your classes.

A: Group sessions take place weekly. You’ll receive a schedule upon joining, and if you ever miss a session, you can watch the replay inside your course area.
